Suzanne + Alex celebrated their beautiful InterContinental Hotel Boston fall wedding with a traditional Jewish ceremony and lots of bright autumn colors.
The couple put a twist on the traditional first look by standing back-to-back behind the bridal suite door. After coming around and looking at each other, they took the opportunity to practice their first dance before heading downstairs for pictures.
The InterContinental is a great backdrop for formal photographs. Their location, in the heart of Downtown Boston is perfect for city shots, and the beautiful Rose Kennedy Greenway across the street was full of Autumn foliage for a great backdrop. We love that Suzanne’s orange bouquet matched perfectly with the fall trees. After taking pictures with the family and wedding party, we took the couple to the back of the hotel, located right along the Boston Harbor for some waterfront photos.
Following the traditional Jewish Ketubah signing, the wedding ceremony took place inside one of the venues ballrooms. The ceremony was warm and intimate, with soft candlelight and an ornately decorated Chuppah covered in Fall berries and deep red roses. The reception was inspired by deep fall colors of red, orange, and purple, matching perfectly the InterContinental’s third floor ballroom. The floral centerpieces were offset by textured silver linens, and the lights on the center of the dance floor were custom designed for Suzanne and Alex with the newlyweds initials.
All the guests were ready to celebrate this adorable couple well into the night, and Suzanne even got a personal serenade from Alex and all his friends! Congratulations to the happy newlyweds, we had a blast sharing this day with you!
