Last week Spring was in that air as we hosted a party to say thank you to our incredible industry friends! We work with so many amazing people each and every day in the Boston wedding industry, and our P+K party is a chance for us to give back, say “thanks”, and celebrate the beginning of a fantastic 2014 wedding season. We are so blessed to have met and worked with so many talented professionals and are truly grateful for the friendships we have made. We look forward to throwing this event and can’t thank everyone enough for being there!
This year our Celebrate Spring Industry Soiree was at the beautiful Exchange Conference Center on Boston’s water front! The ECC was transformed into a Spring paradise thanks to the fantastic vision of our friend Amy Kimball and her team at Amy Kimball Events. The room was saturated in colors of raspberry pink and orange — color-washed walls from Boston Uplights, beautiful window decals featuring photos of some of our favorite 2013 P+K weddings, and a series of beautiful spring flower arrangements from Dana Markos. In the Exchange Conference Center foyer guests were immediately greeted by a stunning multi-layered floral arrangement, featuring a mix of short, tall and submerged spring flowers in beautiful colors of yellow, orange, and pink. A wall of custom window decals gave special thanks to all of the fantastic vendors who made this night possible, as well as added a really fun pop of color to the foyer space!
The main space featured a beautiful grass-lined wall that was literally springing with real live pink and orange flowers, as well as a stunning spring tree centerpiece in the middle of the room that was hung with fun acrylic flower cut-outs. We loved the bright pink cocktail tables and the colorful orange and pink flowers that topped each of them. We served custom spring cocktails in fun mason jars, with matching pink and orange striped straws for sipping! Guests enjoyed customized hand massages and skin treatment from Arbonne, a special “UV Light Booth” to rejuvenate after a long winter, full makeovers from Ajessence makeup, and could even get their fortunes read from a set of two tarot card readers. Kupah James from Klass Universal kept the music going all night, and we all had so much fun chatting and mingling with some of our favorite industry friends!
We were so thrilled to share this night with so many wonderful people, and we are so grateful to everyone who came out and made this night possible!
