Meditech, Inc. in Canton, MA might be one of the best kept venue secrets in the Boston area — their unbelievable Atrium was the location for the bright, colorful, and elegant garden wedding of Lauren and Marc that we recently had the pleasure of photographing. Paula Marrero of Marrero Events designed this one-of-a-kind wedding, at a truly unique wedding venue and it was gorgeous!
The Meditech Atrium features a high vaulted glass ceiling and two rows of towering palm trees, which made this wedding ceremony feel like a beautiful outdoor spring wedding. The couple said their I Dos underneath the Atrium’s beautiful white pavilion, which was woven with soft pink cherry blossom branches and accented by an elegant crystal chandelier. The ceremony area was lined with topiaries and white gardenias making guests feel like they were sitting in the middle of a garden.
Following the ceremony, guests headed inside to the Meditech Gallery to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The Gallery itself features artwork created by Meditech’s own employees, and was enhanced by elegant tables, bars, and candelabras from Reserve Modern Event Rentals. Meanwhile we stayed outside with the happy newlyweds and their family to get some formal photos under the pavilion. We were even joined by the three family dogs, who were all dressed up with flowers and bowties for the special occasion!
For the reception, the Atrium was transformed with long dining tables that lined the perimeter of the courtyard, square tables in the center and a special head table underneath the pavilion. Each table was filled with a lush mixture of pink and white garden flowers, from roses and peonies to branches of cherry blossoms. Purple uplights lined the courtyard walls and hundreds of candles were placed throughout the Atrium, which made the space glow as soon as the sun started to set. It was a beautiful spring night, and guests could see the dark night sky through the glass ceiling above while they enjoyed their dinner.
For end-of-the-night dancing, everyone moved back into the Gallery to a sleek all-white dance floor illuminated with the couple’s initials. White lounge furniture, high cocktail tables, and an array of beautifully unique candles filled the room which was washed with soft blue and purple uplighting. This was truly a beautiful day and we were so thrilled that Lauren and Marc choose us to capture it for them! A special thanks to Paula Marrero and her team for being so wonderful to work with and to the newlyweds for being so sweet and welcoming. Congratulations Lauren and Marc!
