This holiday season we had the pleasure of photographing the Royal Sonesta Boston winter wedding of Emily and Marc. Following their first look in hotel, we headed outside for photos of the couple along the Charles River. Even in the winter, the view of the city makes for a picture perfect backdrop overlooking the Boston skyline.
After spending some time with the couple and their wedding party, we headed back inside the Royal Sonesta for the fun and emotional Ketubah signing followed by their traditional Jewish ceremony. The Ballroom was transformed into the perfect and intimate setting by Carol Silverston’s lighting, decor and florals.
When we asked the couple what was important to them on their wedding day they mentioned laughter, celebration and excitement with their closest family and friends as the most important elements of the day. That was exactly the day they had from the getting ready through the end of the evening. Emily chose the color gold as the focal point for the decor, and their beautiful reception was glowing with warm lighting, gold linens and candles, and a sense of holiday spirit. The couple shared their first dance and an energetic hora before enjoying heartfelt toasts and an evening celebration of dancing with their friends and family.
