A gorgeous spring day and classic Back Bay location made for the perfect combination for Meghan and Tim’s springtime wedding at the Taj Boston. After getting ready at the hotel, Meghan and Tim met for their first look at the top of the Taj’s grand staircase. The couple chose the Taj for many reasons including the sentiment as Meghan’s parents had gotten married there. Meghan even had the room key from her parents stay years ago when it was the Ritz.
The bride, groom and their wedding party headed to the Boston Public Garden for some photos amidst the blooming foliage, before heading to the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in South Boston for the ceremony. The stunning cathedral with its stained glass windows and magnificent architecture made for an ideal location for Meghan and Tim to exchange their vows.
The cocktail hour and reception took place on the rooftop of the Taj. Famous for its panoramic views of the Boston skyline, the space was elegantly designed by the team at Marc Hall Designs. In springtime tones of green and white, the flowers filled not only the table tops but were also suspended from the ceiling. Combined with the sunset, multiple chandeliers, candle light, floor to ceiling mirrors, the music of SoHo and picture perfect view, Meghan, Tim and their guests celebrated into the evening hours surrounded by this breathtaking atmosphere.
