When Ashley + Justin were looking for a venue for their dream Cape Cod wedding, they knew to look no further than the Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster. This sweet couple met many years ago while working at the resort, and it seemed only fitting that it serve as home to their “Best Day Ever”!
Spending the morning with Ashley + Justin as they prepared for the ceremony, we could feel the excitement in the air. The morning culminated in an emotional and sweet first look on the terrace of the Victorian-style mansion at Ocean Edge.
The beautiful ceremony took place down by the ocean, in front of a creative arch made from two doors finished with a coastal Cape Cod whitewash, and adorned with blush pink flowers. Justin was a dapper groom, in a navy suit, awaiting his bride. Ashley was stunning in her gown, with its intricate lace and delicate rose gold accents. Beachside formal photos followed, and we were thrilled to be able to capture the joy felt by the newlyweds and their wedding party.
Fun accents of gold and settings of navy and blush were a theme throughout the elegant tented wedding reception, including unique place cards of Moet Hennesey’s limited edition summer champagne split that doubled as favors for the guests. The cake, by the Casual Gourmet, featured gold champagne bubble accents, and a unique topper announcing that the day, as Ashley and Justin had hoped, truly had been the “Best Day Ever!”. After dancing and celebrating, a visit by the traditional Cape Cod Good Times ice cream truck was a welcome sight, and a creative addition to this night to remember.
