For Sarah and Brian’s Boston wedding, it was all about tradition and family. For instance, the couple chose the bride’s family church, Wellesley Village, as the location to exchange their wedding vows. The bride walked down the aisle in an elegant a-line ballgown by Pronovias with a pretty lace, illusion, neckline and matching fingertip length veil. Around her waist, a soft pink sash brought in the bride’s favorite color. Soft pink was also featured in her wedding bouquet, with blush roses, white calla lilies, ranunculus, and dusty miller leaves.
After the ceremony, guests went to the Four Season’s Hotel Boston for the wedding reception. The hotel had also hosted the bride’s parent’s own wedding reception there nearly thirty years before. Inspired by her parent’s wedding photos, we used the same staircase for the couple’s formal photos. Afterward, we had some fun capturing a few more casual photos of the couple.
At the reception, a seating card display greeted guests and showcased a large floral arrangement by Honey of Lotus Floral Events. Guest tables where set with elegant ivory lamour linens and decorated with lucite pillar candle holder and floral arrangements with hydrangea, blush roses, and stock. After dinner, Boston wedding band, Search Party, kicked off the dance party. And, at the end of the night, gingerbread men from The Yum Yum Shop served as both favors for the guest and as a late night snack.
Congratulations Sarah and Brian! We loved capturing your classic Boston wedding. Thank you to coordinator Lynne Enos and to Philip and his team at the Four Seasons for always being a joy to work with.
