Sophisticated Fall Boston Public Library Wedding

We recently had the great pleasure of photographing Chris and Zach’s sophisticated fall Boston Public Library wedding this past November. We are so fortunate to be referred by our past couples, we consider it the highest possible compliment. In the case of Chris and Zach’s wedding, we had three past couples in attendance including two of Chris’s brothers and one of Zach’s best friends who were all in the wedding party.

The gentlemen were formal in their crisp tuxes with white bow ties from Brooks Brothers while the women in the bridal party wore black floor-length gowns from Belsoie. The first look took place in Copley Square, just outside the Fairmont Copley where we captured the sweet, quiet moment.

Chris and Zach wanted to celebrate together with friends and family showcasing the city they love. While final preparations for the day were underway and just before the ceremony, Chris and Zach hopped on a trolley and visited some of their favorite locations in Boston with their wedding party. They stopped in their South End neighborhood for a few photos with their adorable lab, Ezra, and continued along to the Comm. Ave Mall as the holiday tree lights were being strung. Next, off to the Public Garden and Charles River Waterfront and finally, iconic Acorn Street in Beacon Hill.

Officiated by a good friend, the couple held their wedding ceremony in the library’s stunning Courtyard. Surrounded by their loved ones, Chris and Zach exchanged their vows. After the ceremony, cocktail hour followed in the Guastavino Room.

While guests finished cocktail hour, we made our way upstairs to Bates Hall for the reception. The quintessential green lamps along the tables popped against a vibrant array of orchids. Gorgeous lighting and linens filled out the space making it warm and inviting. After toasts and cake cutting, the Boylston Room was transformed into a lounge and the Abbey Room for dancing. A good time was had by all while we captured the hora complete with the Mannequin Challenge; an evening full of laughter and celebrating.
