It’s time for the winter wedding season to begin! This elegant and modern wedding was extra special for a few reasons — not only is the bride a long-time Boston wedding industry colleague and fabulous wedding planner, but this was one of the first events in the Boston Public Library’s brand new Boylston Hall. Paige and Chris added so many sweet personal touches, and really made their wedding day special for the two of them and all of their guests.
The wedding day started at the Fairmont Copley, and we didn’t need to stray far from Copley Square for any of the special events. Paige and Chris got ready inside the hotel, then met outside in the Square for their first look. We took advantage of the fountains, the city streets, and the wreath-covered Boston Public Library for some romantic photos of the bride and groom. We were then joined by the wedding part inside the Boston Public Library for formal photos of the whole group, and we had plenty of gorgeous places to choose from inside the historic building. The wedding ceremony was held in the Boston Public Library Courtyard, which was lined with candles, white pillars, and towering green florals while Paige and Chris said their “I do”s.
The wedding reception brought a special treat for guests and for us — it was held in the Boston Public Library’s brand new Boylston Hall. This was the first time we’ve seen the new space for an event, and it is a perfect addition to the Boston Public Library’s already gorgeous venue. Paige and Chris chose a modern and elegant color palette of black, white, and crystal, a perfect contrast to the Boylston Hall’s marbled floors and high ceilings. A few tall green and white centerpieces added a beautiful pop of color to the room, which otherwise stayed true to the modern black and white decor. The talented teams at Marc Hall Design, PEAK Event Services, RESERVE Modern Event Rental and ALPS Lighting executed Paige’s vision to perfection.
We loved the personal touches Paige and Chris added to their wedding celebration, including a surprise entrance under a baseball bat tunnel (Chris is a baseball fan), and a “cutting the pizza” in lieu of cutting the cake. Their wedding day was a true reflection of their unique relationship, and we were so happy to share this wonderful day with them.
