It’s the most wonderful time of the year at the Ritz-Carlton Boston! Its time again for one of our favorite holiday traditions, the annual Ritz-Carlton holiday soiree right in the heart of downtown Boston. We’ve photographed this event for many years now, and have seen so many of their fun and inventive party themes — Parisian Soiree, Winter Wonderland, and Venetian Masquerade just to name a few. This year the Ritz-Carlton celebrated their 90th anniversary, and to honor the hotel’s initial opening back in 1927 the theme this year was the Roaring 20’s.
For this year’s soiree, the hotel was transformed into a 1920’s speakeasy — complete with red velvet curtains, black and white decor, opulent gold and silver details, and lots of tassels. An old black-and-white video of the city streets was projected right at the entrance, so guests could really feel like they were walking back in time into the roaring 20’s.
During the night’s event, Music Management surprised everyone with a performance of can-can dancers and a 4-piece jazz quartet. Event partners Boston Ballet and LTI Transportation continued their annual tradition of raffling off fabulous travel getaways to a few lucky guests, and everyone brought an unwrapped gift to share for a child in need.
We always love being a part of this holiday tradition at the Ritz-Carlton Boston. Reconnecting with industry friends, helping those in need, and sharing in the holiday cheer are what make this season great!
