This elegant summer wedding at the Four Seasons Boston was described by the bride as “formal fun”. Floral designer Carol Silverston went above and beyond with the gorgeous flowers and elegant decor, while the bride and groom’s infectious laughter and fun demeanor kept the energy of the entire day light and carefree.
Lauren and Ian both started their day in the Four Seasons Boston getting ready, before meeting on the hotel’s Grand Staircase for their first look. We took a short walk across the street to the Boston Public Garden for some photos with the couple before heading back to the Four Seasons for group pictures with the entire wedding party. For this traditional Jewish wedding, Lauren and Ian had a Ketubah signing before beginning the wedding ceremony. Lauren’s uncle officiated both ceremonies, keeping the bride and groom (and all of their guests) laughing and smiling the entire time. The wedding ceremony was held in the Four Seasons Governors Room under an elegant white Chuppah, where Lauren and Ian officially became husband and wife.
The Four Seasons Boston Ballroom was transformed by Carol Silverston and her team for the evening reception. Colors of classic white and dark blue were used throughout the day’s events, from the bridesmaid’s dresses through the cocktail hour decor, and this theme was continued into the evening. Carol used a beautiful mix of white linens, crystal chairs, modern glass-top tables, and white floral centerpieces with accents of dark blue in the Ballroom. An all-white dance floor and silver accents really made this event pop, and Lauren and Ian were blown away when they walked in for the first time.
Beyond the gorgeous decor, what really stood out about this wedding was the smiles and laughter that filled the entire day. Lauren and Ian performed a choreographed dance to kick off the reception (after only one night of practice) and guests packed the dance floor non-stop for the rest of the night.
