We’re nearing the end of the summer wedding season, but it’s still not too late for a gorgeous Boston Harbor summer wedding at the Hyatt Harborside Hotel.
Allison and Michael’s wedding at the Hyatt Harborside was a great example of a late-summer wedding, with touches of darker fall colors and an open tented reception to take full advantage of the golden almost-Autumn sunset. We’re not rushing into fall just yet, though — the outdoor waterside ceremony overlooking the Boston Harbor and city skyline included bright pink flowers in the bouquets, tabletops, and on the wedding cake definitely maintained the classic summer wedding feel.
There were some touches of a rustic DIY inspired details including chalkboard signs and hanging flowers in metal baskets for the ceremony. The tented reception space only a few feet away had a modern feel, mixing bright pinks and greens with a dark chocolate brown. The flowers topped with floating candles made for great centerpieces on several tables, with bright pink arrangements topping the rest.
The late summer weather was perfect for a party that continued well after sunset. Congratulations Allison and Michael!
