We love working with such truly sweet couples such as Erica and Kevin, and we were thrilled to be able to join them for their classic and traditional Westin Copley Place wedding celebration! It was important to the couple that they shared their love of Boston, and of each other, with their guests. They succeeded in having that shine through in all the details, from riding in Old Town Trolleys to the ceremony, to having classic formal photographs taken in the one and only Copley Plaza.
Erica and Kevin decided not to see each other before the ceremony, which took place at the stately Cathedral of the Holy Cross in South Boston. It made for quite the emotional moment when bride and groom first saw each other down the lengthy and elegant aisle to the altar. Erica was stunning in her beautiful classic gown by Rivini, with its intricate lace, and her gorgeous cathedral length veil, as she stood alongside Kevin at the altar for their full Catholic Mass and ceremony.
The reception was an intimate and enjoyable affair, with touching speeches and enthusiastic dancing. The ballroom was adorned in fresh flowers in shades of ivory and green for a light and lively touch, from Lotus Designs, that really helped the creative escort cards (styled after Massachusetts’ city and town signs!) pop, as while as the accents of gold throughout the room.
Congratulations Erica and Kevin! A special thank you to Shauna Richmond and her team at the Westin Copley for organizing such a lovely day to remember!
