Caren and Mike wanted their wedding day to not only be classic and romantic but also a fun and personal for them and their guests. The couple loves to sail so when they were looking for a venue, the Wharf Room at the Boston Harbor Hotel was a perfect choice. The colors for the day were shades of whites with blush pink and a splash of sage and mint green. The bridesmaids wore full length blush dresses that accented Caren’s beautiful Oscar De La Renta gown beautifully.

The first look took place right on the water behind the Wharf Room and we spent some time with the couple and their wedding party before heading inside the hotel for their Kutubah signing. The traditional Jewish wedding ceremony took place in the Wharf Room overlooking Boston Harbor under a custom white orchid filled chuppah. Following the ceremony, guests had the opportunity to view the Harbor from the top of the Rotunda on the 9th floor of the hotel while the ceremony space was transformed for the reception. Cascading white and blush floral arrangements filled the tables from Lotus Floral Events. Following dinner, the music by Soho kept the newlyweds and their guests celebrating on the dance floor all night.

From Caren and Mike: “Our wedding was certainly a day that will bring a smile to each of our faces as we remember it for the rest of our lives. When we look back on it, we are so grateful that it captured the romantic, softly nautical, fun, personal, and classically beautiful vibe we were going for. Our hearts are so full as we think of all of the love we were showered with from our very closest family and friends and we will certainly take that with us as we start our lives together as husband and wife!”

A big thank you to Michael Boivin and his fantastic team at the Boston Harbor Hotel and Congratulations again to Caren and Mike. Thank you both for letting us capture your beautiful day!

We always adore photographing weddings at Four Seasons Hotel Boston and were thrilled to be back again for the wedding of Tiffany and Matthew.  The couple described their wedding vision as classic, traditional and elegant so when they were searching for a venue, the Four Seasons was a natural choice. Tiffany and Matthew chose to keep to a white color palate for their big day and add color with the venue’s natural colors and uplighting. Prior to the ceremony, we spent some time with the couple as they got ready in their  suites. Tiffany chose a white mermaid Casablanca dress accented with Badgley Mischka pumps while Matthew and his groomsmen dressed in classic black tuxedos.

The Governor’s Ballroom was transformed for the wedding ceremony with white floral arrangements of orchids and calla lilies atop tall pedestals on each side of the altar.  The white runner ran the length of the center aisle between the  chiavari chairs with a curved setup matching the shape of the ballroom.

Following the ceremony, we spent some time with the couple and their wedding party taking photographs around the hotel including the grand staircase.  From there, we headed outside with Tiffany and Matthew for photos of the couple under the white lights in the square just behind the Four Seasons. Meanwhile, guests enjoyed the cocktail reception in the Four Seasons Hotel Boston Aujourd’hui room featuring three separate monogrammed ice sculptures including hors d’oeuvre’s and champagne.

Before guests entered the reception, the bride and groom had a sneak peek of their reception in the Four Seasons Hotel Ballroom. Tables were topped with white textured linen, paired with white chiavari ballroom chairs, and a mix of low and high white floral centerpieces. Natural colored pin spot lighting accented each of the arrangements along with white candle light. Purple uplighting around the ballroom added a pop of color to the decor. Tiffany and Matthew were welcomed into their reception with a fun and energetic grand entrance, followed by the couple’s first dance that set the pace for the evening. Everyone was so happy to be celebrating this special day with such a fantastic couple.

A special thank you to Philip Deschamps and the entire team at the Four Seasons, as well as Michael O’Brien of Winston Flowers for creating this beautiful and elegant wedding. Congratulations Tiffany and Matthew and thank you for choosing us to capture your beautiful wedding day!
