It’s been 17 years of photographing weddings full-time. To this day, there is no bigger honor than being asked by friends in the Boston wedding industry to capture their personal milestone events. The wedding of Kaitlin and Jonathan was no exception. We have had the pleasure of working with Kaitlin and her twin sister Kelby many times over the years when they worked with their extraordinary mom Lynne (Lynne Enos Events). So many industry legends whom I have looked up to for many years came out to celebrate this amazing couple.
The Boston fall wedding took place on a gorgeous November day at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Before the first look with Jonathan, Kaitlin had a first look with her parents and bridesmaids in their suite. We spent the next couple of hours taking photographs of Kaitlin, Jon and their wedding party as the sun set and the harbor-side lights came on in the picture perfect setting.
The wedding ceremony took place in the North Atlantic room in the hotel and was exactly what Kaitlin had envisioned – a warm and romantic setting filled with candles, white orchards and a string quartet from Music Management. Linda Matzkin and Abby Gordon (284 Wedding and Events) were on site as guests but also to make sure the events of the day went off without a hitch.
The combined talents of Boston wedding royalty (all close family friends of the couple) created the perfect reception look for the couple in the Wharf Room – Domenic Cambio’s flowers (Domenic Cambio Studios), Suzanne Lowell (SBL Lighting), Danny Parker (Tommy Wholesale), Honey Palakavong (Lotus Floral Events) and Ted Daniels (Boston Harbor Hotel). Chris Cole and the Kahootz Band kept people on the dance floor all night. In addition to Kaitlin loving lots of color, she also loves Christmas. One of the highlights of the night was when Kahootz surprised everyone by playing one of Kaitlin’s favorite Christmas songs and Suzanne and the SBL Lighting team added to the excitement with confetti canons that went off over the dance floor creating an unforgettable moment in the night (and a great photo op)!
A big congratulations to Kaitlin and Jonathan and to the entire team that helped make the wedding of their dreams come to fruition!!!
